This is the first post on openmac.org. I’m building a community resource for IT admins managing Apple devices with open source tools.

What to expect

Guides & tutorials:

Easy to follow guides with code examples and information to get started. Text and video based guides with usable code examples to help adapt the information to your need.

Web tools:

Some small and simple tools for quick things you might need to do, like encode/decode some text, format some markup language, or something else. I will slowly be adding more and more tools to site for your use and mine.

Open source projects:

The long term goal is to create valuable macOS management tools for all MacAdmins to use for free and adapt to their needs. This is ambitious, but I want to provide more to the community than some walk throughs of someone else’s thing!

The future

So I hope people find this project interesting, useful, and watch its development as I strengthen my knowledge along the way as well.
